During my resent mission trip to Ethiopia and Rwanda our group visited the Noel Orphanage near Gisenyi, Rwanda. On the first morning we were to visit we learned that one of the children had passed away. The funeral was planned for the same day and they wanted us to attend. In respect of what had happened I decided to leave my camera in the bag and spend the day getting to know the children and have some time to reflect on the situation. It was a peaceful day and one I will never forget. So many emotions that I never thought I would experience on the mission field I experienced that day. I recorded the music in the service, which was Catholic. The voice of roughly 200-300 children singing during the service that was held outside was very reverent. Below is the audio of the singing portions of the service.

The photo above is of a tea plantation near the Noel Orphanage. The beauty of the countryside in Rwanda is only a glimpse of what you will find in the hearts of the children of this amazing country. I feel it is appropriate for what we experienced that day.
